• Peppermint Bristlenose which are also known as L181 have a jet black body with powder white spots that shine like stars at night..
•  They can grow to around 15cm and will be comfortable at 22-28C degree soft water with a pH of 6.5 to 7.5.
•  These peaceful fish are nocturnal so they prefer staying out of light during the day and come out at night.
•   We recommend that you keep some drift wood in your aquarium and feed them with a vegetarian diet that includes algae wafers, zucchini etc ( Herbivore diet). It is best to feed them at nights as they spend their night looking for food to munch on.
•  Pepps are great at reducing the algae growth in your aquariums and can be kept with most other fish that are not aggressive/ large enough to attack them. We still recommend you to do your own research before purchasing the fish for any specific questions you might want answered in relation to caring of the fish
•  Breeding is mostly done in pleco caves where the male traps a female to spawn. Male would usually take care of the eggs until they hatch.
