Shipping Policy.

Please note we will NOT be shipping or delivering fish between 09-12-2024 and 10-01-2025 - All orders received during this period will be shipped starting 13.01.2025

$30 Flat rate shipping on all orders.

Shipping live fish require careful attention to ensure they reach your home safely.We will ensure that the fish are packed safely before leaving the premises for delivery.Your package will have a tracking number and will be communicated to you via email (make sure to keep an eye on your junk/spam folder)

 

Public Holidays:

We do not ship Live Fish on days following a long weekend with a public holiday (Excludes local council holidays and some state holiday where couriers continue services)

 

 

 

 

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you provide DOA for your live fish?

A: We offer a 100% live delivery guarantee on all our fish. Note that DOA is only valid for orders that arrive within 48hrs after despatch. 

It is important to follow your tracking with the details provided at dispatch and if there is a delay you must contact the courier company to ensure they are processing the delivery accurately and immediately

 

Q: Which locations do you ship to?

A: Most location around Australia except NT, TAS or WA

 

Q: Can I pick up the fish?

A: Yes, pickup can be arranged from North Western Sydney. Select Pickup before completing your order and contact us directly on aqualicious.hobby@gmail.com or our socials to organise a time.

 

Q: What is the cut-off date and time for shipping

A: All order placed by 11.59pm Saturday will be sent out on Monday or Tuesday. Any orders placed after the cut-off will be sent in the following week.

 

Q: When will I receive my order?

A: Delivery usually takes between 24-48 hours depending on location. We unfortunately cannot provide an exact time of delivery as it is handled by the courier company once it leaves the premises.

 

Q: Can I pay via bank transfer (Direct deposit)

A: Yes, please get in touch via email on aqualicious.hobby@gmail.com to confirm bank details. Remittance need to be provided as proof to release the fish/ product for delivery.

 

Q: What do I need to do if I see any fish that are dead on delivery?

A: Immediately (within the hour) of receiving the fish take a video of the dead fish while they are in the unopened bag (this is very important as we cannot take responsibility once the bag is open).  

Email the videos /photos evidence to aqualicious.hobby@gmail.com within 2 hours to start claiming DOA.

 

 

 

 

 

No Return or Refunds Policy

Due to complicated packaging and shipping procedures involved in handling live fish, we cannot accept any returns. Please make your selection carefully.

We can cancel orders but only before dispatch. If you pay via PayPal, the PayPal fees will be deducted before refund is made.

 

Terms & Conditions for purchase of Live Fish:

1. We reserve the right to cancel or delay live fish orders for any reason. This may include but are not limited to:

    - Extreme temperatures posing a risk to the welfare of fish during transit.    - Condition or health of fish deemed unacceptable for transport.    - Insufficient stock to fill an order.

2. Any guarantee only extends to cover livestock. Shipping charges and fees are not refundable in any circumstance.

3. In the unfortunate circumstance of a casualty (D.O.A), fish will not be resent, instead a store credit may be issued if all criteria are met

4. All sizes of fish on our website are of estimated sizes only. New available stocks are added to our store when available and we do our best to update our site often. In the event that a fish is grossly different to that as advertised a clear picture of the fish in the bag before opening and a picture of the fish on a ruler after opening must be sent via email or facebook messenger for processing. ONLY fish that are undersized by more than 50% of the advertised size will be processed with a 50% return in the form of store credit. Oversized fish do not qualify for any compensation.
