- Tangerine Tiger Plecos which are also known as L387, have a brown to orange colouration with the combination of black spots and stripes as per pic. They are a rare find in Australia.
- Like most plecos they are nocturnal and prefer to stay out of light during the day and come out to explore during the night.
- They are an omnivorous species and prefer to eat protein rich frozen / pellet food although it is also supplement with algae wafers or fresh zuchini (veges) at least twice a week. L387s are not the type to reduce your algae and your aquarium plants should be safe to be kept with these fish.
- They can grow to around 12-14cm and will be comfortable at 26-28C degree soft water with a pH of 6.5 to 7.5.
